What Changes in a 9mm Lower

Most of the lower is shared with the AR-15. The differences are in the bolt, buffer, magazine well and feed ramp, and they affect how a trigger times.

Bolt Compatibility

Ramped 9mm bolts push the hammer down in a way flat-bottom bolts do not. If your AR-9 BCG is a flat-bottom design, confirm the trigger you choose is rated for it on the product page.

Buffer Weight

Anti-Walk Pins
