Required Components & System Compatibility

For the Super Safety active reset system to cycle reliably without light primer strikes, bolt bounce, or mechanical binding, your AR-15 host build MUST be equipped with the following supporting hardware:

• Cut/Modified Trigger Shoe: A standard mil-spec trigger modified with the appropriate rear clearance cut to interface properly with the Super Safety lever and cam.
• Full-Auto / M16 Profile BCG: The system requires a full-auto cut bolt carrier group to trip the reset lever during cycling. Semiautomatic profile or lightweight skeletonized carriers will not trip the mechanism. Upgrade your build with a full-auto profile AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group 5.56/223 BCG.
• Heavy Reciprocating Buffer Mass: Proper buffer mass is essential to overcome trigger reset resistance and eliminate bolt bounce. Depending on your barrel length and gas configuration, choose from:

Installation Guide & Technical Setup

Installing the Super Safety set requires basic mechanical knowledge of the AR-15 lower receiver and fire control group geometry. Ensure your firearm is completely unloaded and verified clear prior to beginning installation.

1. Separate the upper and lower receivers. Remove the pistol grip, detent spring, detent, safety selector, and existing fire control group.
2. Install your pre-cut modified mil-spec trigger shoe and hammer using standard trigger pins.
3. Position the Super Safety lever into the receiver slot, aligning it with the trigger geometry.
4. Insert the 4140 steel Super Safety cam into the safety selector hole, ensuring proper alignment with the lever arm and detent pin slot.
5. Reinstall the pistol grip, safety detent pin, and spring, ensuring smooth rotational detent clicks.
6. Perform a thorough dry-fire safety check in both selector modes to verify trigger reset and safety lockout before live-fire testing.
